Otherside

Heartbreak, I'll expose it in these lyrics unto those of whom will hear it, uno memoir of sincereness

I confess, to the one I call my dearest of whose spirit came the nearest has me jerking from the tear slips

You stole my breath, from every touch on my face, with every word that you spake, to every inch of your taste

You truly are the best girlfriend that I've ever had, now I wallow in the sorrow fact, that was the past

It's been four long years and I'm still reminiscin'

On your pure love that I am missing cause I walked my own distance

Oh so distant we have become from a Christian decision to protect you from my hurtful intentions of cheating attendance

It's so hard to say goodbye when I want to say hello

To the Butterfly Angel who held me warm throughout the cold

Now your gone flying high and I'm below oh so low in a hole of Hell's Pit as my soul grows mold

While you strive, build a life with a spouse and two kids

We've been disconnected so long they don't know I exist

Forgotten myth of the hero who came and rescued your heart

Then turned the page being the reason it was broken apart

But your happy ending came at last to mend your incisions

Because a part of love is losing it as I had to witness

And every day it's a struggle to love me first once again

When I still find myself dreaming on that which could've been, on the Otherside.

Can't you see, you’re still a part of me,

And yet I breath for you, but I don’t wanna be

Stuck in the otherside, its where you like to hide

From the fear of it all, making our love die

I'd rather fade out n away, I can never stay,

With the games you play, hoping that you'll change one day

I'm alone in this world, my minds spinnin' n swirled

Man it’s hard to get on, when you were once my girl
